Senior Fellow Norman Eisen discusses his new book, “The Last Palace: Europe’s Turbulent Century in Five Lives and One Legendary House,” with Thomas Wright, director of the Center on the United States and Europe. Eisen describes the Petschek house in Prague where he lived as the U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic, and how the lives of its former occupants tell the story of 100 transformative years of European history.
